My first job was dealing with a strike issue in China.

Originally, I wanted to become a professor in Chinese studies at university, but I faced setbacks. I tried to find a job, but due to Japan's 'Employment Ice Age Generation,' I struggled to secure one. So, I took a position as an interpreter at a factory in China.

However, on my second day, a strike broke out! I had to deliver the president's message to a large group of employees, experiencing the cold sweat of being on the management side.

Afterward, I took a position as a Training and Development Manager at a hotel in Macau, but I was ignored by all five of my subordinates. As you can imagine, I've faced various people management challenges in the past.

No matter the country, culture, or industry, the common issue is 'people problems'.

After returning to Japan, I became an HR professional and gained experience in recruitment, training, HR strategy development, and daily issue resolution across industries such as IT, retail, and manufacturing. After working at my first startup, I became even more determined to support CEOs who are facing 'people problems,' which led me to become a freelancer assisting CEOs of smaller organizations who find it difficult to hire dedicated HR professionals.
